Raymond and Buddy have officially bonded! Now if only I could say that about Raymond and Savannah!! We'll all still adjusting to being a family. Savannah is adjusting to having another person in charge of her. Someone that dropped out of the sky and now is bossing her around!! Raymond is adjusting to him asking her to do something, and Savannah saying, "My Mom didnt tell me to do that, so I'm not doing that!" OR "I want to call my Mom and ask her if I have to do that". I think I mentioned in a proir post, the children in Ghana are very respectful of all adults. Raymond is getting a double dose of reality because he's a new step parent WITH a huge culture adjustment!

And then there's me! I'm stuck as referee. I'm lucky though. Savannah and Raymond genuinely get along good and enjoy each others company. They just have some normal adjustments to go through. Raymond and I are getting along really well. We have misunderstandings but we are working through them as they come upon us.

I'm starting to enjoy my new job a little bit. I'm taking on more responsibility and learning new things each day. I've been in my office all this week and then I go back to Kent for more classes for 10 days. On Sunday, I start a second job at Joanne's Fabric on southcenter parkway. I'm actually looking forward to it. I love Joanne's! Ton's of cool craft stuff , holiday stuff, and more!! I just hope I dont spend my entire paycheck there!
